Nowadays a man cannot do without steel products which are present in almost every field of life and in all forms of the man's activity: opening a window, talking on the phone, using a fridge or washing machine and even watching TV.

Tesko smelting products wholesale company started its business in Knurów in 1996. The initial target of the company was debt trading but with gained experience and widely developed surroundings orientation, the company began to sell the smelting products. Developing individual work tactics based on partnership principle understood as a reliable and professional customers service had a crucial impact on the company fast growth and expansion. After only two years of its activity Tesko wholesale company opened a warehouse in Rybnik at Żorska Street which enabled to keep a high level of selected steel goods currently available. In the same year dealership contracts with Czech and Slovak companies were entered to import the following smelting products: square and rectangle black profiles, welded black and galvanized pipes, hot rolled sections and hot rolled sheets. The imported products are the hard core of the company commercial range at the level of 80%. Tesko cooperating at the same time with various home partners guarantees the whole range of smelting products from different manufacturers..


In 1999 we received a reward and title of "Fair Play Company" which means that our business is characteristic for business ethics and fair play rules. In August of the same year after having received references of other member companies, we gained the membership of the Polish Association of Steel Stockholders (Polska Unia Dystrybutorów Stali).

In 2002 the company seat with its sales department was moved to Rybnik. Here at Brzezińska Street a new warehouse was opened. As a result of organizational changes a logistic centre came into being additionally supported by a transport terminal (10 vehicles of up to 25 t load capacity each). The value of product range to be continually sold amounts to PLN 10-13 million owing to which Tesko guarantees timeliness of deliveries and short periods of order completion. It is worth mentioning that imported product prices are lower than the domestic equivalents.

In 2004 we received the Certificate of Quality Management System according to PN-EN ISO 9001:2000 for implementation and application of quality management systems for the scope of smelting products retail and wholesale.

In 2005 the company was granted a prestigious award by "Puls Biznesu" daily and thus received a title of "Gazela Biznesu" entering the circle of the most dynamically developing companies of the recent years.

Our contractors are domestic and foreign companies so we decided to change or as a matter of fact supplement the company name and since 2006 we have been operating as TESKO STEEL.
